1Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Fantasy Alchemy Lab (the "Game", "we", "us") handles information when you play on Android. We built this game to work entirely offline, and this policy reflects that design choice: there is very little to disclose, because there is very little data leaving your device in the first place.
By installing or playing Fantasy Alchemy Lab, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
2Information We Collect
The Game collects no personal information and creates no user account. The only data generated during play is gameplay state, and it is generated and stored entirely on your device using standard on-device storage (localStorage). This includes:
| Data | Purpose | Leaves your device? |
|---|---|---|
| Level progress, stars earned, unlocked levels | Resume your game where you left off | No |
| In-game currencies (coins, crystals, keys, dust, XP) | Track in-game rewards | No |
| Daily/weekly missions & achievements progress | Track completion of in-game challenges | No |
| Login streak & freeze tokens | Track consecutive days played | No |
| Game settings (sound, music, vibration, language, theme, accessibility options) | Remember your preferences | No |
| Anonymous gameplay event log (e.g. "level completed", "hint used") | On-device only, used for potential future in-app statistics; not transmitted | No |
None of this data is linked to your identity, your device's advertising ID, or any other identifier, because we never receive it — it simply never leaves the device.
3Information We Do Not Collect
The Game does not collect, request, or have access to:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials (no account exists)
- Precise or approximate location data
- Camera, microphone, or photo library access
- Contacts, calendar, or other device address-book data
- Payment or billing information (the Game has no in-app purchases)
- Advertising identifiers (no ad SDKs are integrated)
- Device analytics sent to any third-party analytics or crash-reporting service
4How Local Data Is Used
The data described in Section 2 exists solely to let the Game function as a single-player experience: remembering your progress, your unlocked levels, your settings, and your in-game rewards between play sessions. It is read and written only by the Game itself, directly on your device, using your device's local storage APIs. It is not synced to a server, not backed up to any cloud service we operate (we operate none), and not accessible to us in any form.
5App Permissions
The Android version of the Game requests only two, non-sensitive system permissions:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
android.permission.INTERNET |
Required by the underlying WebView component that renders the Game's interface. All fonts, styles, and app logic are bundled inside the app itself — the Game makes no network requests, sends no analytics, and contacts no server. This permission is a platform requirement of the technology used to build the app's UI, not an indication of network activity. |
android.permission.VIBRATE |
Used only for optional haptic feedback (a short vibration) when you interact with the puzzle, e.g. pouring a potion. You can disable this at any time in the Game's in-app Settings. This permission cannot access any personal data. |
The Game does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or any other sensitive or "dangerous" Android permission (as classified by the Android platform).
6Data Storage & Security
All gameplay data is stored using your device's standard on-device storage (localStorage), sandboxed to the Game's app container by the operating system. It is protected by the same device-level security (screen lock, disk encryption, app sandboxing) that Android applies to any other installed app's private data. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your gameplay data, so there is no remote copy of your data that could be exposed in a server-side data breach.
8Children's Privacy
Fantasy Alchemy Lab is a general-audience puzzle game suitable for players of all ages, including children. The Game does not collect personal information from any player — adult or child — through normal use, and contains no accounts, chat, social features, external links for children, or any other mechanism that could expose a child's personal information to us or to a third party.
Because no personal information is collected from anyone, the Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) in a manner that would implicate the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions on children's data, or similar regulations elsewhere. If a parent or guardian believes their child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 15 and we will address it promptly — though given the Game's fully offline design, this should not be possible through normal use of the app.
9Your Choices & Data Control
Since all data lives on your device, you are always in full control of it:
- Reset progress: the Game may offer an in-game option to reset your saved progress, coins, and achievements back to defaults.
- Clear app data: you can erase all locally stored Game data at any time via your device's Settings app (Android: Settings → Apps → Fantasy Alchemy Lab → Storage → Clear Data).
- Uninstall: uninstalling the app removes its local storage sandbox and all associated data from your device.
10Data Retention & Deletion
Local gameplay data persists only for as long as the app remains installed and its local storage is not cleared. There is no server-side retention because there is no server-side copy. Clearing app data or uninstalling the Game (Section 9) deletes it immediately and permanently — we have no separate copy to delete on our end, and no way to recover it for you.
11International Users
Because the Game does not transmit data across networks or borders, no international data transfer occurs as a result of playing Fantasy Alchemy Lab. Players anywhere in the world, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere, can use the Game without their gameplay data ever crossing a border, since it never leaves their device.
12Your Rights Under GDPR & CCPA
Data protection laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you — for example, the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and the right to know what is collected and why.
Fantasy Alchemy Lab does not hold any personal data about you on any server, so there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — your gameplay data exists only in your device's local storage, under your own control at all times (see Section 9). We do not process personal data as a "controller" or "processor" under GDPR, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, because no personal information is collected in the first place. If you ever have a question about how this applies to you, contact us using the details in Section 15.
13Google Play Data Safety
This policy corresponds to the Data Safety section Fantasy Alchemy Lab discloses on its Google Play Store listing. Consistent with the practices described above, the Data Safety form for this app declares:
- No data collected and transmitted off the device
- No data shared with third parties
- No account creation or sign-in required
- Standard Android platform security (no additional encryption-in-transit claims needed, since nothing is transmitted)
- Users are not able to request data deletion from us because we hold none — local deletion is available at any time per Section 9
14Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add an optional online feature in the future. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
